579The Committee considered an appeal against dismissal submitted by employee VC. The Council's case was presented by JL supported by MH. SL was called as a witness for the employer. The appellant was in attendance with her husband, DC, who presented the case on behalf of VC.

The Committee noted that the appellants appeal related to two separate matters, those being:

(1) Grievance
(2) Termination of contract on grounds of incapability due to sickness

During the hearing the appellant's representative indicated that VC would not be able to continue due to her health condition. Both parties agreed that they had presented all their evidence and information pertaining to the appeal and would forego the process of questions to the appellant and 'summing' up of their cases. The Committee was satisfied that all relevant information and evidence had been presented to enable the Committee to make a decision.
