The Minutes of the Meeting held on Monday, 25th April 2005 were approved as a correct record.
1200 ODPM Consultation on Standards of Conduct in English Local Government
Resolved:-

That the content of the ODPM Consultation Paper be noted, and the response at Appendix 2 to the report be sent to the ODPM.
1201 Appointment of Sub-Committee of 5 Members to hold a hearing pursuant to Article 9.03(n) of the Constitution
The Committee appointed a Sub-Committee to hold a hearing, comprising the Rev R Burdett, Cllr Miss Cushion, Cllr Cole, Cllr Garne and Mrs Tetley. The hearing will take place on 8th March 2006 at 2.00pm.
1202 Standards Board for England - DVD providing guidance on local investigations and hearings
The Committee viewed a DVD from the Standards Board for England concerning local investigations and hearings.
1203 Training Issues
There was a general discussion about training for members of the Committee and for all Members. It was agreed that the Deputy Town Clerk & Monitoring Officer would circulate the current training plan for members at the next meeting.
