Purpose:

Officers recommend that SCC, acting as Landlord, proceed with awarding a new property management contract for the Victoria Centre to Savills for a period of 4 years with effect from 1st April 2024 noting the contract value in the confidential part 2 appendix A.

Reasons for the decision:

Following a full procurement exercise and tender, Savills were assessed as part of the procurement process to be the most appropriate provider for property management services at the Centre. This was based on their levels of expertise and experience demonstrated in their tender submission.

Alternative options considered:

A number of other property management company`s bid for the role, however throughout the procurement process and on assessment of their submission they did not demonstrate the level of technical expertise or experience required by the specification.
