Report of Executive Director (Neighbourhoods and Environment)

Additional documents:

Minutes:

The Working Party received a report of the Executive Director (Neighbourhoods and the Environment) informing Councillors of the commencement of the consultation and implementation of the relevant Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of various Junction Protection Schemes across the Borough.  A list of the proposed schemes to be included in the first tranche of this 2 year capital funded scheme was attached to the report at Appendix 1.

In respect of file number 274 on the list of schemes set out in Appendix 1, which sought the extension of the proposed length of restrictions from 29m to 40m on the east side of Nobles Green Road, Eastwood, the Working Party felt that the length of the restriction should be extended on the basis that the proposed distance was insufficient protection of the junction and the needs of buses.

That, the Cabinet Committee be recommended that subject to the increase of the proposed length of junction protection restrictions from 29m to 40m on the east side of Nobles Green Road, Eastwood, the report be noted.
