Save our trees in southend and westcliff

We the undersigned petition the council to not destroy our mature trees and consider just trimming what needs to be done, rather than destroy something that has been essential to our daily living.

Mature trees around Southend, Westcliff, Essex and the entire world have been growing for some hundreds of years. Because it is an inconvenience to us now, we are going to destroy something that is beautiful that provides shelter that provide home for birds and insects and nature provide us with oxygen.

Mature trees have been growing for a very long time we will not see see many reach that kind of growth even if we were to replant young trees now. Young trees are being destroyed all over the town. The councils are having to put metal guards around young trees to stop them being destroyed by the youth and yet they are going to destroy beautiful maple trees because it is an inconvenience to the sidewalk. The trading after being planted there all those years back. It has been growing at a natural rate and we built a pavement around that tree without consideration of how well it would grow and because it is now now an inconvenience we're going to destroy it and not just one but 143 with over 3000 and in the next couple of years that is an absolute joke. When we're supposed to promote natural resources going green and being self-sufficient you're going to destroy something that provides us with so many beautiful features.
