As Cabinet Member for Environment, responsibilities include:

 

• Air quality and pollution (Physical and Public Health)

• All matters relating to trees, plants, grass verges and other flora

• Climate Change, Renewable energy and Energy Saving

• Marine and Maritime affairs

• Parks and open spaces, grounds maintenance

• Cleansing of highways and public realm

• Waste collection, disposal, management, recycling & sanitation

• Waste and recycling (strategic)
