That the removal of the Hackney Carriage Stand situated on the the south side of of Western Esplanade, Southend-on-Sea be supported and that the removal of the Stand be duly advertised.

338The Committee received a report of the Director of Technical & Environmental Services that sought Members' views on the removal of the Hackney Carriage Stand for horse drawn vehicles situated on the south side of Western Esplanade, Southend-on-Sea. It was noted that the Southend Taxi Drivers' Association had been consulted on the proposal and that no objections had been received.
