Resolved:

That the minutes of the meeting held on 13th February 2009 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.
16 Exclusion of the Public.
Resolved:

That, under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the items of business set out below on the grounds that they involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act, and that the public interest in maintaining the exemption outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information.

The Committee considered a report of the Corporate Director Children & Learning, together with supporting correspondence from the parent of pupil MM, concerning an application for Post 16 school transport assistance.

Resolved:

That the appeal be allowed and home to school transport assistance be granted by reason of extenuating circumstances.

19 SEN School Transport Appeal - Pupil FR

Resolved:

That there being no circumstances reported which would justify the provision of alternative Home to School Transport arrangements the appeal be dismissed.
