516The Cabinet Committee received a report of the Corporate Director for Place that appraised Members of the representations that had been received in response to the statutory consultation for traffic regulation orders for proposed waiting locations within the Borough.

The report also sought the Cabinet Committee's approval on the way forward for each of the locations on the basis of the recommendations of the Traffic & Parking Working Party following consideration of all the representations that had been received.

In response to concerns expressed regarding the possible increase in the speed of traffic should the proposed one way system Delaware Crescent be implemented, the Council's Team Leader, Traffic Management and Road Safety, undertook to monitor the situation after the scheme had been implemented and would investigate whether the introduction of a 20 mph speed limit and any speed calming measures, including speed humps, would be necessary.
517The Cabinet Committee received a report of the Corporate Director for Place that appraised Members of a draft policy which included the powers and processes to be utilised the removal or relocation of vehicles which had received PCN's.

As a result of the comments raised by the Traffic & Parking Working Party, the Council's Team Leader, Traffic Management and Road Safety, undertook to investigate the possible inclusion of obstruction of driveways to the list of contraventions set out in the table under section 2.1 of the policy.
