Resolved:

That the minutes of the meeting held on 20th September 2010 be confirmed and signed as a correct record.
427 East Beach Caravan Park - Application for a Variation of Licence Condition
 Prior to consideration of the report from the Corporate Director Adult & Community Services the Committee discussed a preliminary matter concerning consultation with residents in respect to the application for a variation of licence condition at East Beach Caravan Park.

The Committee noted that there was no statutory requirement for consultation but still felt that residents should be given the opportunity to make representations on the application.

The Committee discussed the report of the Corporate Director Adult & Community Services and suggested that a revised report be brought forward, following the consultation, containing the following details:

- Information on other caravan sites in Essex
- Details of when the East Beach Caravan Park was purchased
- Details of the historic use of the caravan park
- Details of mobility access for disabled persons
- legal position in respect to the variation of the licence.

Resolved:

1. That the Committee be adjourned to allow for public consultation.

2. That a revised report of the Corporate Director Adult & Community Services in respect to the application for variation of licence condition at East Beach Caravan Park, following consultation, be considered by the Licensing Committee at the appropriate time.
The meeting was preceded by a site visit at 10.00am.
The meeting started at 11.30am and finished at 11.45am
