The Committee considered an appeal against dismissal submitted by employee STG.

Having considered all the evidence and submissions made, the Committee:

Resolved:

1, That allegations 1, 2, 3 and 6 be substantiated and therefore the decision to dismiss STG on the grounds of gross misconduct be upheld and the appeal be dismissed.

2 That allegation 5 be substantiated but it did not constitute dismissal and therefore a lesser sanction of a first and Final Warning was more appropriate.

3. That allegation 4 not be substantiated.
