We the undersigned petition the council not to charge for parking at Jones Memorial Park.
We the undersigned petition the council to The parking charges that are being implemented across the city specially near parks. I, resident of St Luke’s ward feel deeply disappointed with the proposed parking charges to come in force at Jones memorial park. These spaces provide recreational facilities to young and old. Laying parking charges will put people away, which could cause huge damage to their physical and mental heath. This park is extensively used for children activities and elderly.
As stated, I consider that parking charges should not go ahead at this park.
